Yousef Ibrahim Al Ghanim

Chief Executive Officer

Yousef Al Ghanim is the CEO of the company since June 2023. He joined The Securities House group of companies in 2014 and prior to that, he was the deputy general manager for investment & development at Alam Almesila General Trading Company, where he was responsible for leading and developing the company’s investments in line with its long-term objectives.  Before that he was part of the corporate banking team at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, bringing with him a well-rounded experience in banking and Investments.  

Yousef holds a Bachelor of Science in accountancy from Kuwait University and has completed several executive programs, including “General Management Program” from The Chicago Booth.

Mohamad Tawfik Al Tahawy

Chief Operating Officer

Mohamad Al Tahawy has been working at The Securities House since 1998.  Prior to occupying his current post as the Chief Operating Officer, he served in various capacities as the Chief Financial Officer, Head of Internal Audit, Head of Corporate Finance and advisor to the board.  He is currently responsible for overseeing a wide range of the company’s departments and the international real estate investment advisory in addition to his membership of the company’s executive committee.

Prior to joining The Securities House, Mohamad worked at KPMG and Ernst & Young and has extensive accounting knowledge of a diversified set of activities including investment, finance, trading, contracting and manufacturing.  He holds an MBA from the UK in addition to designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Internal Auditor (CVA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Financial Manager (CFM).

Khaled Abdullatif Al-Baijan

Managing Director -International Real Estate Investment

Khaled Al-Baijan has joined the company in 2025 and prior to that was the CEO of its subsidiary, Gatehouse Capital where he has been working for since 2006. Before  joining Gatehouse Capital, Khaled was at Inovalis Real Estate Fund in Paris as a Financial Analyst. His education was of high ranking, as he graduated Magna Cum Laude at the American University of Paris with a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and International Communication (Corporate Track) from 1999 – 2003. He then did his Master’s in Diplomacy and International Affairs at the American Graduate School in France.

Aysha Faisal Al Mudhaf

Managing Director -Business Development

Aysha Al Mudhaf has joined the company in 2025 and prior to that was the COO of its subsidiary, Gatehouse Capital where she has been working for since 2018.  She  is a Board Member on Helvetia Arab Holding Co. K.S.C. (Kuwaiti Swiss Consortium). She has also been the Deputy CEO of Aalam Almesila Company since 2007 where she’s responsible for financial management and stakeholder relationships.  Aysha’s education was of high ranking, as she graduated high honors at Kuwait University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Business Administration. She then completed her Executive MBA at London Business School in 2013.

Madi Talal Al-Khamis

Executive Vice President - Investment and Funds

Madi Al Khamis oversees the financial investments and funds managed by the company in addition to the international real estate investment. Madi joined The Securities House in 2007 after successfully completing the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Graduate Training Program, where he, along with 20 of the brightest young minds in Kuwait, were handpicked to participate in an intensive training program at Deutsche Bank, London. Madi holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kuwait and is a member of the company’s executive committee.

Musaed Ali Al Qadhi

Executive Vice President - Public Equities

Musaed Al Qadhi joined the company in 2001. He has worked in the asset management sector and investments, portfolios and funds management, as well as working in the group’s subsidiaries. Musaed has served on several board memberships of listed and unlisted companies and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics in addition to participating in many programs and courses.

Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen Al Kharafi

Executive Vice President – Fintech

In his decade-plus-long career in the investment field, Abdulrahman Al Kharafi has managed over USD 250 million in assets across more than 200 companies, as well as analyzed over 70 listed companies in the MENA region.  He was a lead figure in the transformation and privatization of Kuwait Stock Exchange, offering consultancy and managing many of Boursa Kuwait’s projects. Abdulrahman also has broad entrepreneurial experience through building and managing numerous successful businesses. Abdulrahman holds a BA in finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Charterholder) awarded by CFA Institute in the USA in 2012.

Firas Nabil Al Ayyoubi

Executive Vice President – International Real Estate Investment

Firas Al Ayyoubi joined the company in 2025. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President of Investments at its subsidiary, Gatehouse Capital, since 2013.  He represents the company as an SPV director for multiple real estate transactions in the US and UK.  Before joining Gatehouse Capital, Firas worked as a Senior Analyst in the Transactions Advisory Services Mergers & Acquisitions department at Ernst & Young Kuwait, where he was involved in both buy-side and sell-side transactions in the MENA region.  Firas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a double major in Accounting and Finance, as well as an MBA from Indiana University at Bloomington in the USA.  He is a CFA Charterholder and holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the State of Indiana.

Mohammad Ahmad Al Shaya

Executive Vice President - Wealth Management

Mohamed Al Shaya has more than 17 years of experience. Before joining The Securities House, he headed the wealth management department at Rasameel Investment Company and managed the fund-raising activities for regional and US transactions. Prior to that Mohammed was a branch manager at Warba Bank, where he led the branch to be the top performer in saving accounts and fixed deposits. Before that he was a relationship manager at Warba’s platinum clients’ department, where he was recognized as the best team member and was selected among the Hero Team.  Mohamed holds a bachelor’s in management from Kuwait University and an MBA from Gulf University of Science and Technology, Kuwait.

Abdulrahman Naser Al Saleh

Senior Vice President – Private Equity

Abdulrahman Al Saleh spent his last 12 years in the alternative investment and private equity space focusing on defensive sectors (Education, F&B and Medical) where he has held several senior positions in the portfolio companies sponsored by The Securities House. He is responsible for setting the direction and strategies for the private equity deals, concentrating in the business development and the value creation aspect of the companies he managed.

Abdulrahman holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering minoring in Business Administration and MBA in Finance from the University of Toledo, USA. He also completed some executive programs, namely: Management of: Crisis from Harvard Business School, Leading Change for Organizational Transformation from London Business School.

Abdullah Sami Al Kulaib

Senior Vice President – Private Equity

Abdullah Al Kulaib worked in 3 different investment companies in Kuwait for 12 years in direct investment department focusing on private equity, private and listed companies in Kuwait, UK, USA and MENA in sectors of IT, energy, real estate, education and logistics. He spent 6 years in private business in hospitality, F&B and food manufacturing sectors in Kuwait, Bahrain and UAE. He was a chairman of a real estate company in Kuwait, a board member of listed companies in Kuwait and Egypt, and a board member of technology companies in Kuwait and UAE.

Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering minoring in Business Administration and MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Toledo, USA. He completed training and executive programs from: Cornell University, Harvard Business School, Sciences Po University and Euromoney Financial Training.

Hany Mohamed Zarad

Executive Vice President - Financial Controller

Hani Zard has over 24 years of experience in the financial field where he joined the company in 2007.  Prior to that, he worked for a group of well-known Kuwaiti companies such as Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC), International Financial Advisory Company (IPFA) and Al Ghanim Holding Group of companies, where he supervised the preparation and review of financial performance reports and regulatory reports. Furthermore, the development of accounting policies and systems, and the control of cash flows and financial statements.  His main responsibilities include overseeing subsidiaries in the preparation of budgets and financial reports. Hany has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cairo University, Egypt.

Khaled Ahmad Al Fandi

Executive Vice President – Compliance

Khaled Al Fandi has more than 17 years of accounting, auditing, and advisory experience, and prior to joining The Securities House, was a partner & co-founder of Wethaq Financial Advisory, where he managed a diverse portfolio of clients, providing technical solutions and appropriate advice.  Before that, Khaled headed the internal audit and compliance at Cap Corp Investment Company, where he spearheaded the establishment of the internal audit and compliance department and developed practices to swiftly comply with the Central Bank of Kuwait and Capital Markets Authority rules and regulations, and other evolving compliance requirements.  Before that he was part of Kuwait’s Ministry of Justice, where he handled arbitration in business and accounting lawsuits. His previous experiences were in audit and accounting field at Albazie & Co. RSM International and a leading construction company.  Khaled holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Kuwait University. In addition, he is a certified Accounting Expert from Kuwait Institute for Judicial & Legal Studies & Certified Arbitrator and Accounting Expert, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Mohamed Mahmoud El-Sheikh

Senior Vice President - Information Systems

Mohamed El-Sheikh joined the company in 2007 where he applied his solid technical background to corporate business goals, providing cost effective information technology management solutions. He is also responsible for designing and implementing the policies and procedures of information systems and security.

Mohamed previously worked as Project Manager at ReDSOFT [Reginal Center for developing of Educational Software] where he was responsible for project management, software applications, web development and technical support.
