Khaled Ahmad Al Fandi

Senior Vice President – Compliance

Mr. Al Fandi has more than 14 years of accounting, auditing, and advisory experience, and prior to joining The Securities House, was a partner & co-founder of Wethaq Financial Advisory, where he managed a diverse portfolio of clients, providing technical solutions to their business & financial challenges.

Before that, he headed the internal audit and compliance at Cap Corp Investment Company, where he spearheaded the establishment of the internal audit and compliance department and developed practices to swiftly comply with the Central Bank of Kuwait, Capital Markets Authority and Ministry of Finance rules and regulations, and evolving compliance requirements.  Before that he was part of Kuwait’s Ministry of Justice, where he handled arbitration in business and accounting lawsuits. His previous experiences were in audit within Albazie & Co. RSM International and as an accountant at a leading construction company.

Mr. Alfandi holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Kuwait University. In addition, he is a certified Accounting Expert from Kuwait Institute for Judicial & Legal Studies & Certified Arbitrator and Accounting Expert, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
