Fahed began his career at The Securities House in 1997 and was initially responsible for The Securities House international investments, working as the Investment Director in the Fund Management Department. In 1998, Mr. Boodai established GSH (Global Securities House) and began operations in San Francisco. Following this move, he relocated GSH in 2002 to Kuwait to protect client interests while maintaining the quality of its investment products. Mr. Boodai changed the company’s focus to real estate in 2002 following the downturn of world equity markets. One of Fahed’s overarching priorities at GSH is positioning the company at the forefront of innovative investments by offering clients opportunities to invest in the global equity.
Mr. Boodai is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Gatehouse Bank plc, London UK. He is also the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Gatehouse Capital, formally known as GSH Kuwait. With more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience and a successful track record within the global real-estate market he has presided over US $3 billion worth of real estate acquisitions and exits in a number of asset classes. These core real estate holdings, from student accommodation to medical facilities, include the UK headquarters for Procter & Gamble, Rolls Royce and Intercontinental Hotels. Fahed was profiled in the “40 under 40” feature for Real Estate Forum, a list of globally recognised real estate investors.
Mr. Boodai received his M.B.A from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California and a BS in International Business from the University of San Diego and holds a number of board member and director positions across a range of global funds and US/European companies.
